Why should I test my compressed breathing air supply?

Modified on: Thu, 24 Jan, 2019 at 9:34 AM

In order to remain compliant with local regulations, systems supplying breathing air are required to be routinely tested.  Ongoing monitoring of air supply systems also supports the protection of the individuals using the breathing air supply.

Most compressed breathing air applications fall under standards and sampling protocols identified by the CSA. Typically testing is required every 6 months, however is dependent on the system, location and intended use.  Please refer to the appropriate standard for your application.
