The reported detection limits (RDLs) is above the regulatory limit. Can you reduce the RDL?

If the reported value for a parameter is less than its Reported Detection Limit (RDL) and this value is greater than a regulatory limit, it may be possible to reduce the RDL of the parameter and bring the result within compliance.

The ability to do this is highly dependent upon the parameter and on the instrument used and is not always available for review or adjust due to the nature of the analysis.  To initiate an investigation please contact our customer experience team with your Job number reference.
