Finding Methanol Vial Weights in LIMS

- Make sure you are in the appropriate East vs West MaxxLIMs
- Western_MaxxLIMSAppLauncher (for methanol vials ordered out west)
- Eastern_MaxxLIMSAppLauncher(for methanol vials ordered out east)
- In OPERATNSc - open Complete Operations
- User ID - type in your LIMS initials and hit ENTER (tabbing or moving out of the field will not register and cause issues). If done correctly your user name will pop up under the user id (you cannot edit this field)
- Bench Location - find or type in code SP-01 which is SP-01(SP-01org. soil prep) if in Calgary LIMS, or VB-VW0 if in Burnaby LIMS.
- Operation - hit the 3 dots and search for description Weigh-SP if you are in Calgary LIMS, or Weigh-VSP If you are in Burnaby LIMS.
- CCME/VOC button will become available once info is filled, hit this button
- A new window will open CCME and VOC Preparation
- Go over to the Vial Info tab
- Vial Barcode: type in the vial barcode (they start with SP), hit Enter
- Once completed the Initial Weight will populate and you can provide this info to the client
