How to make sure a particular test is chargeable

There are two main ways to select and toggle whether a test should be made chargeable or non-chargeable.  Both are located in the JOBc module.

You can check if a test is chargeable by viewing the "Current Values" tab here: Job Entry Screen > 'Tests Change' > 'Details' -> Current Values tab.

In the column to the far right labeled Chargeable ?, a Yes or No will indicate the setting of that particular test for the selected samples.

Option 1:

Allows for changes to ALL samples:

Under the "Main" tab, highlight the test then select either the Charge or No Charge button.  Save and approve.

If only a select number of samples require alteration, select the specific samples with the toggles to the left and follow the steps above.  If there are only a few samples on a large job, it can be easier to select the individual samples by taking this route from the Job Screen: 'Samples' -> highlight the sample of interest -> 'Test Details', then adjust as needed using the toggles on left.

Option 2:

An alternative way to change the chargeability of an individual test on a per sample basis is via the SE - Test Browse Screen.  (JOBc > Job Entry Screen > Samples > Select sample > Display > Tests > select test > Chargeable.

This option only allows for one sample, one test to be changed at a time.

If you are selecting a non-chargeable test to now be chargeable, you will have to complete the quote and pricing information before saving.
