SDS for Bacteriological container preservative - Sodium Thiosulphate

Sodium Thiosulphate is used as a preservative for bacteriological testing.  Coliforms, Fecal Coliforms and E.coli are quenched with preservative.  Primarily to stop any further degradation of bacteria due to chemical breakdown.  (Chlorine and THMs are often the primary cause).
