For RFPs specifying Laboratory Accreditation

Modified on: Wed, 11 May, 2022 at 12:17 PM

In some instances, a request for proposal (RFP) may indicate either the Canadian Association of Laboratory Accreditation Inc (CALA) or the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) as the required accreditation.  CALA and SCC jointly released a statement that the two accreditations are equivalent and should not limit a bidders eligibility if they are not accredited by the party identified in the RFP, but rather its counterpart.  See the attached statement released by CALA and SCC.
