eCOC Templates, Why I Should Create Them

Using templates is a great way to save time and ensure consistency within your sampling program.  They are easy to create and can store as little or as much information as you like.

When to use Templates:

Anytime information is being reused across submissions, templates can save you time by reducing data entry.  Having access to a generic template that includes your profile details and a few of your favorite tests can make everyday submission faster. And remember, the process is flexible so templates don’t have to be perfect. Any information that’s stored in the template can be updated at the time of submission.

Templates are ideal for monitoring programs or re-occurring submissions when you need to ensure consistent execution throughout the program.  Capturing all of the information in the template transforms it from a time saving tool into the work instructions for your team.  This creates sampling/testing consistency, eliminates transcription errors, keeps data clean and greatly reduces data entry time.

How to create a Template:

There are three ways to create an eCOC Template:

  1. From scratch in a few quick steps
  2. From a job that’s similar
  3. From a supply order that’s similar
