Can You Interpret My Results?

Modified on: Fri, 8 Apr, 2022 at 10:10 AM

As a testing laboratory, our mandate is to provide you with accurate results on the tests conducted on your samples. On request we can comment on factors such as matrix interferences that may impact the accuracy of the data and we can provide comparisons of your data to the relevant guidelines or standards with an indication of those results that are above or below those values. However we cannot provide interpretation or implications of the test results.

Once you have your results, depending on the purpose of analysis it is best to seek advice from either your local healthcare provider, regional health unit or governing environmental institution.  Environmental consultants or engineers can also provide assistance with an action plan based on your results.

If you are sampling/testing as part of a medical investigation, Bureau Veritas Laboratories does not diagnose symptoms from contaminants. We suggest you share your results and/or determine required or follow up testing with your healthcare provider.
